In the first two weeks of December, we shared these gifts with members of our congregation, with families who receive food from us regularly, with two children’s homes, and three other ministries.
As a way to serve our community, we have made our facilities available to the Victim’s Institute.

A Team Visit from Church on the Rock
This was a wonderful opportunity for the IDC congregation to participate in worship from another culture
Lately, many friends have sent money to sponsor money for bunk beds. We want to give a shout-out to Southport Church and dear friend Michael Isenberg and many others for always helping and reaching the communities, even through the distance.
The church is thrilled to partner with us, and we are excited for you to come to Guatemala and meet them and be part of this change.
Meet the Hernandez Family – A young family that lives in San Antonio Aguas Calientes Sacatepequez, 30 minutes from Antigua Guatemala. They have been renting a small structure with an open room and kitchen, and the four of them sleep in the same bed. They have a new house, and the trajectory of their lives is forever changed. All because of “Here I am, Lord use me.”
1 year Update from the start of the Pandemic – March 14, 2020, Guatemala shut down for reasons of the Pandemic. Like many across the globe, this action required us to cancel all Sunday services and weekly activities and ultimately dismiss most salaried church employees as resourcing fell.
